The successful candidate must possess proficiencies in MS Office products (including Access). Other requirements include EXCEPTIONAL spoken and written communication skills; EXCELLENT interpersonal skills; a STRONG teamwork ethic; and EFFECTIVE communications with field staff as well as senior-level management. Technician will be responsible for programming test requirements into the digital vibration control systems. This will include setting up instrumentation for control and data acquisition required to perform, monitor, and log testing results as detailed in Test Procedures. The technician will also work directly with test engineers, managers, and customers in setting up and performing testing. Prior experience in using Spectral Dynamics and Unholtz Dickee vibration controllers to conduct vibration testing and perform data analysis would be helpful. This position will also be responsible for setting up and or supporting other aspects of the environmental tests lab such as thermal tests and vacuum testing. Position will also be responsible for some test equipment and data systems preventative maintenance activities.
