Must have a valid current driver?s license. Must pass a drug screen and a range of motion physical. This is a very dirty, physical position, operating pressure washers, jack hammers, pick axes, hose trucks, etc. Also, wearing a respirator is a requirement. Must not be claustrophobic, will work in tight confined spaces. 1 day of unpaid training will be required. Some travel (3-7 days out) may be required. Per diem and transportation will be provided. Job Title: Environmental Technician Company: Trihydro Corportation Location: McPherson, KS Description: Trihydro Corporation, an Environmental Consulting firm has an opening for an Environmental Technician in McPherson, Ks. Duties include groundwater remediation system operations, routine air and water sampling and level gauging, as well as support for remediation and regulatory activities in a petroleum refinery setting. Other duties include air emissions monitoring associated with leak detection and repair programs. A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is required. Preferred candidates will have experience in groundwater, soil, and air sampling. Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to learn various database programs.
