Job Title: Environmental Field Technicians Company: Location: New Orleans, LA Description: ERM is seeking hands-on Environmental Field Technicians to join our consulting firm on a full- or part-time basis in Mobile, AL, New Orleans, LA, or Tampa, FL. In this role, your primary duties will include operating and maintaining groundwater and wastewater treatment systems and soil vapor extraction systems, as well as performing other environmental remediation field and office duties for projects throughout the U.S. Gulf Coast region. RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Operate and maintain groundwater treatment, wastewater treatment, and soil vapor extraction systems. ? Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical systems associated with site remediation and industrial wastewater treatment systems. ? Conduct field work, including soil, sediment, ground water, and surface water sampling and monitoring. ? Perform field measurements and calculations. ? Record and compile field data. ? Ensure safety of oneself and one's team members during project operations. ? Coordinate and communicate with client representatives, subcontractors, and ERM employees. REQUIREMENTS: ? Two-year technical degree in the field of engineering, environmental monitoring, or equivalent preferred. ? 1 to 3 years of hands-on field experience, including familiarity / experience with soil and groundwater sampling techniques and field procedures. ? Ability to independently complete field assignments and summarize data for investigation reports. ? Willingness/interest in field assignments and traveling to project sites. ? Computer literacy, including proficient MS Office skills. ? Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols. ? Valid driver?s license and a good driving record ? 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus. Job Title: Supervisors/Foremen/Technicians - Environmental Firm Company: Location: Shreveport, LA Description: Environmental firm seeking qualified applicants for Supervisor/Foremen/Technicians in the Texarkana office. Emergency response in the AR/LA/TX region and beyond. Will train 40 HAZWOPER certification to motivated individuals. Profile waste, interact with environmental personnel including clients/project managers/consultants and vendors in a professional manner.
