Job Title: Sr. Environmental Specialist-Engineer Company: Honeywell Location: Baton Rouge, LA Description: Honeywell Specialty Materials is a global leader in providing customers with high-performance specialty materials, including fluorine products; specialty films and additives; advanced fibers and composites; intermediates; specialty chemicals; electronic materials and chemicals; and technologies and materials for petroleum refining.Honeywell Specialty Materials employs approximately 8,500 people at more than 50 manufacturing and sales facilities worldwide.There is an immediate opening for a Sr. Environmental Specialist-Engineerwithin our Fluorine Products plant inBaton Rouge, LA.This position will be part of a 6 member health, safety and environmental team and be primarily responsible for the sites air program including Title V compliance.Position Responsibilities:Air Compliance Systems - Program Management and Reporting.Accountable for ensuring compliance with theDEQ air permit.Accountable for interfacing with DEQ representatives to develop the sites air permit applications and notifications for projects and modifications, and implementing compliance systems in a chemical manufacturing environment.Accountable forTitle V compliance systems, reporting, and record keeping.Accountable implementing new and changes to existing federal and regulations (e.g., HON, MON, Boiler and other MACT regulations).Responsible for conducting air emission calculations for the development of air permit amendments and annual reporting.Accountable for SARA Tier II and Toxins Release Inventory annual reporting.Accountable for completing all air regulatory reports for the DEQ and EPA.Accountable for managing all stack testing and completing routine reporting.Auditing and other support:Accountable for participating in Corporate HSE audits; DEQ/EPA and other agency inspections.Participate on a rotating on-call HSE duty roster to support plant continuous operations.Support other environmental media as needed.
