Job duties will entail: asbestos building surveys, abatement monitoring, and indoor air quality investigations. The qualified candidate must possess strong technical writing skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. This is an entry level position, a college degree in a science based field required. Work experience in the fields of safety, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials control or other construction trades is a plus. Applicant must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time, occasionally work nights and weekends and be able to climb a ladder. Location: Minneapolis, MN Description: Looking for individual with asbestos inspection and air monitoring experience for asbestos abatement projects. Must be MDH certified to conduct asbestos inspections and air monitoring. Certification and experience with lead paint inspections and clearance testing a plus.Temporary contract position that may turn into full-time position. Individual with experience in preparing Phase I Environmental Site assessments also a plus.
