Job Description : URS is seeking a compliance specialist to manage various multi-media environmental compliance and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)projects at federal and commercial facilities for our Raleigh area office in Morrisville, NC. Work will include managing and executing projects involving regulatory research, collecting field information, creating databases, performing studies and analyses, and compiling and writing reports. Additionally, environmental compliance program plans will be developed and implemented for various facilities. This position requires solid technical, project management, and client relations skills. The candidate must be comfortable working with existing and new clients to develop and market new program areas. Services include the full range of offerings of URS' depth and breadth of technical expertise, with a focus on: 1) environmental compliance and program development and implementation; 2) development and implementation of EMS and related programs with federal/military and commercial sector clients; and 3) working with clients to develop and market new offerings. The candidate will coordinate and communicate with project team members, other project managers, and other URS offices. Direct interaction with clients is expected.
