They are seeking a senior level specialist for a position in their Ankara,Turkey office. Previous experience working in Turkey is a plus. The successful candidate will have: .Bachelor's qualification in geology, geochemistry, environmental engineering or sciences. A post secondary qualification will be an advantage. .Minimum of 10 years experience in environmental assessment of mining facilities. Experience with IFC Environmental Performance Standards, as well as other international environmental benchmarks is preferred. .Demonstrated leadership and project management experience .Good knowledge in the use of MS Office is necessary. Experience with other scientific software (numerical models) is desirable. . Good written and oral skills in English. Turkish language skills will be an advantage but is not mandatory. The successful candidate will manage and undertake studies related primarily to the Mining Industry, including: . Environmental site assessments . Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) . Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) . Compliance/performance audits, and due-diligence studies . Compliance studies for operation, reclamation and closure of mine sites . In addition to the technical issues, the successful candidate will be expected to assist in client relationships and work in a team environment. .
