Job Title: Environmental Chemist

Location: Richmond, CA (Onsite)

Type: Contract (through March 2026)

Pay: $38-$45/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Overview:

Seeking an Environmental Chemist to support increased sample testing demands. This role involves conducting lab-based analyses related to air quality and environmental health using advanced instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform testing on environmental samples using ICP-MS, GC-MS, and SEM.

Assist in air quality monitoring and sample collection.

Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment.

Support mobile lab setup and field instrumentation as needed.

Document results and maintain sample records using Excel and internal systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.

1+ year experience in an environmental testing laboratory.

Hands-on experience with ICP-MS, GC-MS, or SEM required.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-throughput lab setting.

Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Hands-on training and SOP-based onboarding led by experienced lab personnel.
