Research Assistant (temporary) - Slotkin Lab

The Slotkin Lab at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, Missouri, has an immediate opening for a Research Assistant (temporary).

Responsibilities:

• Performs entry level wet-bench molecular biology research
• Assists in compiling, analyzing and interpreting results
• Collaborates with a team of current scientists to develop a new assay to rapidly validate gene editing
• Works in a team setting with open communication to many different coworkers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferred and laboratory experience is required
• Work with CRISPR/Cas gene editing and/or plant biology is desired
