Environmental Scientist Intern

We are SLR Consulting (US), a 500+ coast-to-coast team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. We are Making Sustainability Happen.As our new **Environmental Scientist Intern**, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.**Role**SLR is seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern to join our busy Salt Lake City, Utah operations. This role offers candidates the opportunity to work under the supervision of professional Ecologists and Environmental Scientists and contribute to a diverse and challenging range of federal/state/municipal and private environmental projects including federal and state wetland delineations, regulatory permitting, threatened and endangered wildlife habitat evaluations, geographical information system mapping and environmental impact analysis, data analysis and report writing will also be an expected task. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing international environmental consulting organization.**Responsibilities:**Working with professional staff and mentors, the intern will perform assignments designed to utilize and develop their professional skills and knowledge that are essential in their chosen field. The intern will assist project teams in the coordination of projects from conception through final plan preparation, fieldwork, analysis, design-related tasks, and preparation of technical reports. The internship is a temporary, seasonal position that generally lasts for up to six months. Exact schedules are to be determined The hourly range for this position is $20- $23.
