Senior Environmental Engineer – Bryant, AR (Hybrid)
Summary We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer with a strong background in water resources and environmental engineering to join our team in Bryant, AR . This position focuses on managing and supporting projects in stormwater, industrial wastewater, and watershed management . The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil, environmental, or biological/ecological engineering and significant experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water quality, NPDES permitting, and stormwater management .
Key Responsibilities
Lead or support projects related to industrial wastewater troubleshooting , stormwater pond design , and hydrology/hydraulics .
Develop and review technical documents using MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD .
Design and implement plans for pollution prevention , SWPPPs , and SPCC in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and water quality analysis for streams, rivers, and stormwater systems.
Prepare technical support for NPDES permitting , 404/408 permits , and water quality standards .
Design and support implementation of stormwater controls and wastewater/water treatment systems .
Run or assist with watershed modeling and water quality modeling (nice to have).
Support ecological restoration and environmental compliance projects.
Develop design documents , capital cost estimates , and coordinate with vendors and project partners.
Maintain effective communication with clients, regulators , and internal teams , both in the office and on site.
Conduct field data collection and site visits as needed.
Required Qualifications
BS in Civil, Environmental, or Biological/Ecological Engineering (ABET accredited).
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater or environmental engineering.
Proven experience in stormwater management , industrial wastewater , hydraulics/hydrology , and NPDES permitting .
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with watershed modeling , groundwater quality , and SPCC planning .
Experience supporting ecological or watershed restoration .
Strong understanding of state and federal water regulations .
