Senior Environmental Engineer – Bryant, AR (Hybrid)

Summary We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer with a strong background in water resources and environmental engineering to join our team in Bryant, AR . This position focuses on managing and supporting projects in stormwater, industrial wastewater, and watershed management . The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil, environmental, or biological/ecological engineering and significant experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water quality, NPDES permitting, and stormwater management .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support projects related to industrial wastewater troubleshooting , stormwater pond design , and hydrology/hydraulics .

  • Develop and review technical documents using MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD .

  • Design and implement plans for pollution prevention , SWPPPs , and SPCC in compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and water quality analysis for streams, rivers, and stormwater systems.

  • Prepare technical support for NPDES permitting , 404/408 permits , and water quality standards .

  • Design and support implementation of stormwater controls and wastewater/water treatment systems .

  • Run or assist with watershed modeling and water quality modeling (nice to have).

  • Support ecological restoration and environmental compliance projects.

  • Develop design documents , capital cost estimates , and coordinate with vendors and project partners.

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, regulators , and internal teams , both in the office and on site.

  • Conduct field data collection and site visits as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Civil, Environmental, or Biological/Ecological Engineering (ABET accredited).

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater or environmental engineering.

  • Proven experience in stormwater management , industrial wastewater , hydraulics/hydrology , and NPDES permitting .

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with watershed modeling , groundwater quality , and SPCC planning .

  • Experience supporting ecological or watershed restoration .

  • Strong understanding of state and federal water regulations .
