**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a proactive and experienced **EH&S Manager** to lead our Environmental Health & Safety initiatives across all divisions. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and internal policies, while fostering a culture of safety that aligns with our **SPIRIT** values.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker who can engage with team members at all levels, develop, implement, and maintain structured **safety programs**, and drive **continuous improvement** in our safety practices---especially within production environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S policies, programs, and procedures

- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; analyze findings and recommend improvements

- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders on safety matters

- Oversee the company's safety program, including OSHA compliance, SDS management, and safety committee leadership

- Manage emergency preparedness plans, including disaster recovery and evacuation procedures

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as OSHA, GHS, HAZCOM, REACH, RoHS, and Prop 65

- Lead the PPE program and maintain a comprehensive safety training calendar; deliver training as needed

**Qualifications: **

*Required*

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

- 7 + years of experience in safety and compliance roles

- 3 + years of experience in management roles

- 3 + years of experience in a production environment

- Experience with global compliance standards such as GHS, REACH, RoHS, and Prop 65

- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products

- Proven organizational leadership and project management abilities

- Ability to travel occasionally

*Preferred: *

- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field

- Experience managing maintenance and/or facilities
