Environmental Scientist

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist for our Somerset, New Jersey office. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services.

Responsibilities of this role include:

+ Perform and write Phase I ESAs

+ Collect samples for soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion analysis

+ Review laboratory reports and tabulate analytical data

+ Prepare technical reports and deliverables

+ Ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion assessment, site remediation, and project management.

Requirements:

+ 1 to 3+ years of Phase I ESA experience

+ BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related curriculum preferred

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ GIS experience would be preferred, but not required

+ Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
