Environmental Scientist

Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist in our Denver, CO office. As an Environmental Scientist, you will serve as an integral member of our environmental team. Summary

The individual will primarily provide support and coordination for environmental projects and tasks, which includes filed work, as well as assist with the preparation of reports.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in environmental science, natural resources, geology, botany, wildlife biology, engineering or a related field

2-4 years of experience assisting with environmental projects and tasks under the supervision of a Senior Environmental Scientist or Division Manager

Detail oriented with the ability to balance project priorities to ensure successful completion

Ability to perform field work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work with office machinery including computers, fax machine, copier, etc.

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a team

Essential Functions

Provide assistance on environmental site assessment field work and reports

Perform field activities which may include assisting with soil and groundwater sampling

Perform office activities including project planning, permitting, subcontractor contracting, data compilation and presentation, and report preparation

Other duties as assigned
