Environmental Services Technician

Position Summary:
Join a mission-driven healthcare facility committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. As an Environmental Services Technician , you’ll play a critical role in infection control and patient satisfaction by performing routine and urgent cleaning tasks across patient rooms, public areas, and clinical spaces. This position requires adherence to strict safety and sanitation protocols, including PPE usage and biohazard handling, while supporting hospital operations with flexibility and care.

Requirements:

• Must be local to Asheville, NC
• TB test within the last 3 months
• Proof of or immunity to: MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap (post-age 11), and Influenza (in-season)
• Must pass respirator fit test and wear required PPE (N95, face shield, etc.)
• Willing to work every other weekend and adapt to changing assignments
• Ability to read and write at an 8th-grade level
• No experience required; 1 year of healthcare housekeeping or CSR experience preferred
