Join us as a an EHS professional, where you ll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Services department You ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace .

Successful candidate will be part of a team that provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to a client manufacturing facility. This position works directly with the Environmental Team s engineers and the wastewater facility s operators to assist in sampling processes and other tasks. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical background.

What you ll do

  • Work with client to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility environmental policies
  • Prep and process samples and supplies for routine wastewater sampling
  • Coordinate and assist in additional environmental sampling processes as needed
  • Creating hazardous and non-hazardous waste profiles
  • Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures
  • Create environmental reports to communicate sampling results
  • Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for supply ordering
  • Evaluate and interpret environmental regulations to inform sampling and reporting parameters
  • Additional responsibilities according to client needs

What you ll bring

  • Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline
  • Prior EHS or manufacturing setting experience preferred
  • Prior customer service experience with great interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and highly productive with the ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Possess the ability to follow good documentation practices and adapt to changing schedules
  • Previous environmental experience and knowledge of environmental regulations is a plus
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Pay Range/Compensation $22.00 - 28.00 per hour
Work Schedule Monday Through Friday 8am to 5pm (Flexible)
