As an EHS Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety department, supporting various teams to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligning successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across facilities.
  • Provide training and education to staff on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in environmental health and safety roles or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH are preferred.
