Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Scientist to oversee the installation and maintenance of flow and level monitoring equipment within sewer lines and rainfall monitoring systems. This role involves calibrating flow monitors, collecting and reviewing data on sewer flow, levels, and rainfall, and ensuring the accuracy and organization of all related records.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation of flow and level monitors within sewer lines.
  • Oversee the installation of rainfall monitoring equipment.
  • Calibrate flow monitors to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Collect and review sewer flow, level, and rainfall data.
  • Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records according to company standards.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in environmental science and related fields.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with engineering and utilities, hazardous waste, and wastewater management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science preferred.
  • OSHA 40 certification preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.

Work Environment

This position operates on a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour days typically scheduled from 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime pay available. You will work alongside another Environmental Specialist and report to a manager. The office is based in Londonderry, NH, with projects primarily located in Boston, and extending as far as Bangor, ME, and CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
