Location: Waco, TX- Electrolit Manufacturing Plant
Reports to: Director of Plant Operations
Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager for Electrolit Manufacturing USA will be ensuring a safe, compliant work environment through training, research, and policy implementation. The Environmental Health & Safety Officer be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA. The EH&S Manager will report to the Electrolit Manufacturing’s/JCSA’s HR Manager.
Principal Duties
- Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
- Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and compliant policies with respect to workplace procedure.
- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
- Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
- Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Skills
- Strong Microsoft office suite program experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.

- Problem Sensitivity – The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing the problem.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required
- Five (5) years prior experience in related field required.
Other Requirements
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Must be able to lift Thirty (30) pounds.
- Must be able to comfortably use ladders and step stools.
