Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, using a variety of materials, cleaning agents, and equipment according to policies and procedures. Education Graduate Equivalent - GED 9 to 11 years of school - Preferred Experience 1-2 Years Housekeeping/Cleaning, Customer Service Skills - Required License & Certification None Required Core Job Functions Cleans and sanitizes assigned area according to standards. Collects and transports regular and regulated medical waste. Maintains a high level of cleanliness in patient areas. Practices hand hygiene in accordance to department standard. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to use floor care equipment. Be courteous to patients, co-workers and visitors.
