Environmental Scientist
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Scientist for a temporary role supporting critical environmental compliance activities. You will work directly with onsite environmental field personnel at a Petroleum Marine Terminal, helping to ensure timely and accurate reporting for air, water, and waste compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Collect, scan, and process reports required to support the facility's environmental operating permits.
Evaluate report completion and follow up with relevant departments (Operations, Scheduling, and Maintenance) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with environmental site inspections (PPE provided and required: hard hat, safety glasses, safety boots).
Organize and maintain both digital and physical documentation and records.
Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Web Applications) to manage files and communications effectively.
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in environmental compliance, reporting, or a related administrative/technical role.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to perform occasional field inspections in safety gear.
TWIC card preferred (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
Organized and self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments.
Able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a compliance-driven environment.
