Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse environmental projects focused on site characterization and remediation of soil and groundwater. You'll act as both a technical expert and a project leader, managing the full lifecycle of environmental remediation projects while mentoring staff and building client relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee environmental projects involving site characterization, remediation, and compliance.
Lead field operations and remediation projects such as:
Soil excavation
Groundwater pump and treat systems
Bioremediation
Thermal desorption
Soil stabilization
Soil vapor extraction
Ensure fieldwork is executed with the highest standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
Provide mentorship and leadership to technical staff and project teams.
Analyze environmental data and deliver technical insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients; help define project scopes and budgets.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE), or other relevant certification.
Minimum of 10 years of environmental project experience, including client management, technical execution, and staff mentoring.
Strong knowledge of CERCLA and various soil and groundwater remediation methods.
Proven experience managing field teams for environmental site work.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients, regulators, and team members.
Adaptable and proactive with a passion for solving environmental challenges.
Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.
Drug Screen Statement
Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen.
Pay Range
$90,000 - $130,000 USD
The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
