We're seeking Civil and Environmental Engineers with an interest in Water Resources Engineering to support the delivery of cutting-edge projects for both local and global clients. As a Water Resources Engineer based out of Sacramento, CA, work would include development and application of environmental and water resources analyses, to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water resources planning activities.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Knowledge of mathematical optimization, linear programming, hydraulic, and/or hydrodynamic models (examples include CalSim II, CalSim 3, , etc.).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel) and programming languages, including VBA, Python, and/or R.
  • Knowledge of California hydrology and water resources is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Masters degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
  • California Professional Engineering (PE) license.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

89,100.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

139,250.00

The base salary range for this position is $89,100.00 to $139,250.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
