An Environmental Civil Engineer plays a crucial role in the environmental industry by designing, developing and implementing sustainable engineering solutions to environmental problems. They work closely with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure that construction and development projects don't negatively impact the environment. Their main responsibilities often include conducting research, preparing reports, designing sustainable systems, overseeing project implementation and managing waste and pollution control systems.
