Environmental Civil Engineer Jobs in Maine

An Environmental Civil Engineer plays a crucial role in the environmental industry by designing, developing and implementing sustainable engineering solutions to environmental problems. They work closely with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure that construction and development projects don't negatively impact the environment. Their main responsibilities often include conducting research, preparing reports, designing sustainable systems, overseeing project implementation and managing waste and pollution control systems. Prior to becoming an Environmental Civil Engineer, a person might work as a Civil Engineer, Environmental Scientist, or Project Engineer, gaining valuable experience and skills that will aid in their later role.
