Environmental Coordinator Jobs in Vermont
An Environmental Coordinator plays a crucial role in the environmental industry by ensuring the company's compliance with environmental laws and regulations. They are responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental policies and practices. These professionals conduct environmental audits, prepare reports, and present findings to management. A bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is usually required, and professional certifications such as Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA), Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), or a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) can be beneficial. Prior roles that can lead to becoming an Environmental Coordinator include Environmental Technician, Environmental Consultant, or Environmental Analyst.
