Environmental Technician Jobs in Korbel, CA

Additionally, they document their findings and prepare reports which might be used for regulatory purposes. Technicians also work on remediation projects, which are aimed at cleaning up pollution in concentrated areas.
Important skills for an Environmental Technician include problem-solving, analytical, and scientific skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Many positions require a postsecondary degree in natural science or science-related technology, though some entry-level positions may only require an associate degree. Additionally, certain states require licensure for environmental technicians conducting asbestos, lead, or radon removal or abatement. Prior job roles that can lead to a role as an Environmental Technician may include Laboratory Assistant, Research Assistant, or Field Assistant.
