Environmental Planner Remote & Hybrid Only Jobs
An Environmental Planner plays an essential role in the environmental industry as they work on the conservation and management of natural resources. Their responsibilities encompass researching and analyzing environmental conditions, creating environmental impact reports, and implementing strategies for sustainable development. They are involved in decision-making processes related to land use and development, ensuring that projects comply with environmental regulations and standards. To excel in this position, an Environmental Planner should possess a strong understanding of environmental science, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. A bachelor's degree in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field is generally required, and further certification such as the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) can be advantageous.
